What You’ll Do:
- Investigate and resolve debit card claims and disputes, minimizing losses while adhering to Regulation E requirements.
- Analyze fraud patterns, make recommendations to enhance security, and provide fraud analytics to management.
- Coordinate debit card cancellations, replacements, and account maintenance with precision.
- Oversee chargebacks, arbitration, and fund recoveries while engaging with merchants and law enforcement agencies.
- Perform reconciliations, balance general ledgers, and provide accurate financial reporting.
- Partner with branches, departments, and vendors to provide operational support and ensure compliance with industry standards.
What You’ll Bring:
- Experience: Proven background in financial services, debit card fraud investigations, and chargeback processing (MasterCard experience preferred).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with Excel expertise for data analysis. Familiarity with platforms like FINBOA is a plus!
- Analytical Ability: Strong reasoning and investigative skills to detect fraud trends and recommend proactive solutions.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal skills to engage effectively with members, team members, and external partners.
- Organization: The ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and excel in a dynamic environment.
