About the Opportunity:


We’re seeking an experienced and detail-driven Accounting Analyst. In this role, you’ll play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting daily accounting operations, and ensuring back-office processes are seamless and efficient.

What You’ll Do:


  • Perform daily general ledger balancing and reconciliation.

  • Accurately post and reconcile back-office member transactions.

  • Manage accounts payable with precision and timeliness.

  • Process member wire transfer requests.

  • Reconcile bank statements and process stop payments on checks and ACH transactions.

  • Balance postings and settlements for ACH, share drafts, ATM transactions, and other member activity.

  • Assist in preparing monthly financial statements and reports.

  • Support a variety of accounting tasks including accounts payable, receivables, billing, and inventory reporting.

  • Utilize advanced Excel skills for financial analysis and reporting.

  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, including the Bank Secrecy Act.

  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding member account information.

What We’re Looking For:


  • 1+ year of accounting experience in a credit union, financial institution, or similar environment.

  • Strong working knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills, especially Microsoft Excel.
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and adaptable with a commitment to integrity and confidentiality.
